Madaraka Dental Centre introduces children to the world of dentistry in a positive way. We encourage routine dental visits for healthy experience than when in pain only. We spend more time and resources in ensuring that our children are comfortable and happy whenever they visit the clinic. We also encourage check-ups after every 6 months as cavities develop at a rapid rate. These regular check-ups will also help to identify problems earlier hence making solutions that are less traumatic for them and less expensive for parents/guardians.
We believe in prevention than cure. We conduct full oral examinations with all our new patients with the aim of identifying any abnormalities in their oral cavities. Treatment plans are then developed to correct these health issues. We conduct regular checkups on our long standing clients and we remain active in educating them on oral health.
Restorative dentistry is the field of dentistry chiefly involved in the constructive rebuilding of decayed and traumatically broken teeth with the use of specific restorative materials. The restoration may be applied to a vital (living) or non-vital tooth in specific situations. As our slogan reads “We Restore a Smile”, we therefore provide restorative treatments to our patients both children and adults without reliance on extraction. We use top restorative dental materials that improve the prognosis of restorations placed. We use high durability, fluoride leaching, cavity adaptable, high finish and aesthetically pleasing composite restoration materials among other filling materials.
Endodontics or Root Canal Treatment is the process by which the necrotic (dead) pulpal tissue of a tooth is removed, the tooth is sterilized, and replaced with a biologically compatible material (gutta percha) that seals off the roots, prevents infection of the apical bone and helps prolong the functional life of a natural tooth. We do endodontic treatments (Root canal Treatments) to ensure complete apical sealing of the roots of the affected teeth to prevent secondary root infection in the future. We use rapid dental radiographic images to accurately monitor root canal treatment, and we use endo-motor systems reverse roter files for complete apical and root obturation.
We offer treatments for any diseases affecting gums, periodontal ligaments and jaw bones. These diseases may result in the premature loss of affected teeth. Some of the conditions in this category include gingivitis, periodontal disease and gingival recession. We do not overlook any aspect of our client’s Oral health as this may result in the ultimate failure of any treatments provided.
The premature loss of teeth has adverse effects on patients’ masticatory, phonetic and aesthetic functions. We restore a smile by reconstructing damaged teeth by use of Porcelain-fused-to- metal crowns, chrome or acrylic based removable dentures. Our treatments are conducted in the most efficient and effective manner possible.
Our aim of cosmetic dentistry is to improve self-esteem among our clients. In doing this, we do veneers and teeth whitening treatments to improve overall aesthetics of our clients. Our veneers are made from various high tech materials while teeth whitening is done using a gel type whitening system at the chairside or at home. Laser whitening is a new innovation that is being adopted.
Madaraka Dental Centre uses orthodontic appliances and braces to make corrections on mal- positioned teeth. This aims at restoring smiles among patients with malocclusion hence improving their self-esteem.
